Turinabol — chemically chlorodehydromethyltestosterone (CDMT), and known universally as Tbol — is an oral anabolic-androgenic steroid with one of the most documented histories of any compound in this category. It was the first original product of Jenapharm, the East German pharmaceutical company, patented in 1961 and introduced for clinical use in 1965. Production was discontinued in 1994.
This listing is Turinabol 30 mg per tablet, 50 tablets per bottle. Structurally, Tbol is the 4-chloro-substituted derivative of metandienone — in other words, it is Dianabol with a chlorine atom added at the 4-position. That one substitution changes the compound’s behaviour completely, and understanding it explains everything else on this page.
The 4-chloro group blocks aromatisation. Where Dianabol converts readily to estrogen and brings water retention with it, Turinabol effectively does not aromatise at all. The result is a compound that produces slower, drier, more gradual gains with no estrogenic water weight — and no need for the estrogen management that its parent compound demands.
Turinabol is 17α-alkylated, which is what allows it to survive first-pass liver metabolism and work as an oral tablet. That same modification is what places it in the hepatotoxic category, and why liver support and limited run lengths are not optional considerations.

Turinabol has an elimination half-life of approximately 16 hours. That is long for an oral — considerably longer than Winstrol or Halotestin, both of which sit closer to nine hours — which means once-daily administration maintains reasonably stable blood levels, and elaborate dose-splitting is less necessary than with shorter orals.
Typical protocols discussed in the literature and in athletic contexts sit in a moderate range and run for limited periods, constrained by the 17α-alkylated liver load rather than by the compound’s effect curve. Specific dosing is a decision for you and a qualified physician, and this page does not make a recommendation.
This is the most important thing on this page for anyone who competes in a tested sport, and almost no vendor will tell you.
Turinabol was the key steroid administered to approximately ten thousand East German athletes under State Plan Topic 14.25 between 1968 and 1989. That history matters now for a specific technical reason: in 2011, a mass-spectrometric method was developed to detect long-lasting metabolites of CDMT. Those metabolites persist far longer than the parent compound.
The consequence was dramatic. Stored Olympic samples were re-analysed years after they were collected, and a wave of athletes who had passed testing at the time returned positive results retrospectively. Turinabol was at the centre of it.
The practical takeaway: a 16-hour half-life tells you nothing useful about detection. The compound leaves quickly; its long-term metabolites do not. If you are subject to any form of drug testing — now or potentially in the future on a stored sample — Turinabol is among the worst possible choices, and any claim that it “clears fast” is dangerously wrong. Read the Anavar or Proviron pages if detection profile is a factor in your decision.
Every orally active alkylated steroid carries hepatic load, and Turinabol is no exception — it is formally categorised as a hepatotoxin. It is generally regarded as gentler on the liver than Anadrol or Halotestin, but “gentler” is a comparison, not a clearance.
Sensible practice is straightforward: limited run duration, no stacking of multiple methylated orals at once, no meaningful alcohol intake alongside, and a liver panel before and after. Running Turinabol alongside another 17α-alkylated oral is the single most common way people get into trouble with it.
Turinabol suppresses natural testosterone production, so a testosterone base and a recovery plan are conventional. Its 16-hour half-life means it clears the blood quickly after the last dose, so post-cycle therapy is started sooner than it would be after a long-ester injectable such as EQ or Deca.
Commonly used recovery compounds include Nolvadex (tamoxifen), Clomid and enclomiphene. Because Turinabol does not aromatise, an aromatase inhibitor is generally unnecessary for the Tbol itself — though it may still be needed for whatever testosterone base is run alongside it. Liver panel, lipid panel and blood pressure before and after are the baseline.

What is Turinabol used for?
Turinabol is used in performance contexts for gradual lean gains and strength without water retention. It was originally developed by Jenapharm and introduced clinically in 1965.
Is Tbol lab tested?
Yes. This product was analysed by Janoshik Analytical and measured 27.65 mg against a 30 mg label claim — 92.2% of stated dose. The full report is linked above.
Does Turinabol aromatise?
No. The 4-chloro substitution blocks aromatisation, which is why Tbol produces no estrogenic water retention and generally does not require an aromatase inhibitor for the compound itself.
What is the half-life of Turinabol?
Approximately 16 hours — long for an oral compound, which allows once-daily administration.
How long is Turinabol detectable?
Far longer than its 16-hour half-life suggests. Long-lasting CDMT metabolites can be detected by methods developed in 2011, and were responsible for retrospective positives in re-analysed Olympic samples. If you are tested, this is a poor choice.
Is Turinabol liver toxic?
It is 17α-alkylated and categorised as a hepatotoxin. It is usually considered milder than Anadrol, but liver support, limited duration and avoiding other methylated orals still apply.
Turinabol or Anavar — which is better?
They are close in effect; both are dry and non-aromatising. Anavar is milder and shorter-acting. Turinabol has the longer half-life and a much longer detection window.
What does Turinabol cost and how do I order?
The price is shown at the top of this page. Orders are placed on-site, paid by Bitcoin, with a 2-item and $100 minimum, and US domestic shipping in 3–5 business days.
